GTA/GRA/GA - 3Gs


Click on the appropriate button below for help with hiring either a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) or a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA)

The process is initiated by the department/supervisor.  The appropriate faculty member will use these buttons as an efficient way to contact the Graduate Academic Advisor about 3G appointments.

Once the information is supplied by the faculty member/department to the COGA Advisor, she will submit the 3G form to the SSC

The staff at the SSC will check the funding source for errors.  Note that the staff does not verify the dates or salary so make sure these are correct when sending the information to the COGA Advisor.  Once approved, the SSC staff will forward the 3G form to HR where a Payroll Action Form (or PAF) will be submitted and onboarding will begin.
